Abstract

317,198. Harrison, P. De T. July 12, 1928. Stoppers with valves. -The neck 3 of a collapsable tube &c. is closed at the end and formed with an orifice 4 disposed lengthwise in the side thereof. The orifice is closed by a cap 8 screwed on to the neck and provided with an aperture 10, a small angular movement bringing the orifice 10 into register with the orifice 4 to permit discharge of the contents of the tube. The inner end of the cap is inturned on to a reduced portion of the neck to prevent the cap from being completely removed from the neck and a catch may be provided or a spring washer 12 be disposed in the cap to hold it in the closed position.
