670,052. Stoppers. GRUBER, L. Sept. 26, 1949. No. 24662/49. Class 125(iii). An opening 5 formed in the end wall 10 of an outside part 2 of a closure for a container, such as a tube 7, for liquids, gases, pastes &c. receives a projection 3 formed on an inner part 1, and openings 4 formed round the latter are closed by the wall 10 when the outside part 2 is screwed down on to the inner part to form a closure. Discharge of the contents is controlled by the screwsetting of the outer part 2 which may be partly, or wholly, made of an elastic material to allow the end 10, while normally in its closed position, to be raised by the application of pressure to the contents of the tube to free the openings 4, 5. In an alternative construction the inner part 1 is made as an integral part of the bottle neck or cork.
