221,107. Shores, J. H., Towers, J. W., and United Alkali Co., Ltd. Oct. 25, 1923. Capsules.-The glass ampoule or like container to be sealed has a long neck a of small diameter into which is inserted a glass stopper, such as a glass rod B or a glass tube closed at its lower end. The scaling is effected by heating the neck of the ampoule so that, as shown in Fig. 4, the neck of the ampoule and the, stopper within it are fused together.
