504,601. Closures for collapsable tubes. RUETZ, T. Aug. 4, 1938, No. 23078. Convention date, July 1. [Class 125 (iii)] A closure for collapsable tubes comprises a tubular member 6 slidable in the neck 1<1> of the tube 1 and having a closure cap 3 secured to its outer end, a spherical enlargement 7 at the inner end to form a stop, at least one lateral inlet opening 8 in the enlargement 7, and an outlet 9 at an intermediate point in the wall of the member 6. The cap 3 is positioned or the member 6 by a central pin 4 which terminates in a slopping surface 4<1> adjacent the outlet 9. The outlet 9 is so disposed that the tube 1 can be completely closed by pushing the member 6 therein without securing the cap 3.
