Abstract

512,158. Collapsable tubes. LEVER BROS. & UNILEVER, LTD.. and TAINSH, P. W. March 22, 1938, No. 8815. [Class 66] The nozzle of a metal collapsable tube having integral shoulder and neck portions is fitted with a tubular lining inset or ferrule 6 formed of moulded cellulose acetate or ceramic or other suitable non-metallic material. The inset protrudes slightly beyond or may be flanged over the rim of the nozzle, and interengaging means such as a projection 12 engaging in a recess in the nozzle may be provided to anchor it in place. A non-metallic closure cap is preferably provided. Specification 139,645 [Class 125 (iii)], is referred to.
