Abstract
521,688. Collapsable tubes. SCHULZ, [nee LOHMANN], E. July 28, 1938, No. 22513. Convention date, July 28, 1937. [Class 66] Collapsable re - fill containers 8, Fig. 2, of paper &c. are mounted for use in a permanent headpiece comprising a . skirted shoulder portion 7 and a delivery nozzle 6 provided with a screw cap, the headpiece being formed with internal threads either on -the nozzle (as shown) or on the skirt portion, adapted to engage co-acting threads provided on the re-fill container, the end 11 of the container 8 being pierced before insertion. A telescopic sleeve 18, Fig. 3, may be attached to the headpiece. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also collapsable containers formed by winding webs of paper coated or lined with indiarubber, aluminium or other metal foil &c. which containers may be of tapering: shape as shown in Fig. 4. (Cancelled), and of the cross-sectional forms shown in Figs. 1 to 3 (all Cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
