Abstract
409,919. Closures for collapsable tubes. BRITISH COLLOIDS, Ltd., Crookes Laboratories, Gorst Road, Park Royal, and THOMPSON, F. J. W., 72, Dukes Avenue, Muswell Hill, both in London. June 15, 1933, No. 17128. [Class 125 (iii).] A closure for a collapsable tube 10 &c. comprises a hollow member 12 formed with a rubber membrane 15 having a slit 16 therein which opens when pressure is applied to the tube. The membrane 15 may be integral with or attached to the closure. The closure may be threaded internally to engage a threaded nozzle on the tube, or may be provided with ribs &c. for that purpose. The member 12 may be tubular in shape and reduced in bore at the outer extremity thereof.
