428,229. Closures for collapsable tubes. REST, J., 9, Raleigh Gardens, Brixton Hill, London. Nov. 9, 1933, No. 31259. [Class 125 (iii)] A closure for a collapsable tube &c., comprises a ball valve d, held in a ductile socket b which covers more than half the circumference of the ball and closes both ends of the passage e when the valve is in the closed position. A washer g is disposed in a recess under the valve. The valve may be barrel shaped, and may carry an opening projection d<1>. In a modification the device is adapted for use with bottles. Specification 9105/08, [Class 125], is referred to.
