Abstract

452,224. Nozzles. SMITH & DAVIS, Ltd., and CHETWYND, F. E., Hampton Street, Birmingham. March 23, 1935, No. 9153. [Class 69 (iii)] In a spray nozzle of the kind in which an inner tubular member 1 provided with a regulating head 3 over which an outer nozzle member 6 screws, the packing 12 for maintaining a liquid-tight joint between the two members is retained between a washer 11 engaging a shoulder on the inner tube and the rolled-over inner end of the outer member 6. The tube 1 may be screwed into a cap nut 16 and secured by expanding or riveting the inner end of the tube 1.
