[Class 69 (iii)] A sprayer for use in cooling towers &c. comprises a lift valve 1 mounted on a stem 4 axially aligned with a water supply tube 3 and having a free sliding fit in a bearing 5. The bearing 5 is carried by upwardly extending arms 6 formed integrally with the tube 3 of arcuate form and streamline section.
