Stoppers with valves. -In a sell-closing container-tube in which the neck consists of a cylindrical hollow stud 4 provided with a discharge aperture 3, closed by an elastic valve tube 4<1>, the valve tube is held on the neck and behind the discharge aperture by holding means which are arranged internally or externally of the valve tube and permit the extruded contents to escape only in a forward direction. The valve tube may be stretched over an angularly offset thickening of the neck or an upstanding flange 2 intergral with the shoulder 1 of a collapsable tube may be turned inwards at its free edge to grip the rubber tube 4'. A thin yielding layer of inert material, such as tin-foil, cork, or impregnated silk, may insulate the valve tube from the contents.
