Abstract

316,180. Deutsche Gasgluhlicht-Auer- Ges. July 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Refrigerating, absorption machines for.-The generator-absorber 1 of a reversing system is cooled during the absorption period by a refrigerant circulating in a supplementary closed cycle, of which the jackes 2 of the generatorabsorber forms the evaporator, and an -cooled coil 9 and a coil 4 in a water bath 5 or other heat-absorbing device form the condenser. A valve 7 in the supplementary circuit is opened and closed in accordance with the cooling and heating periods of the generator-absorber. It may consist of a valve 12, Fig. 2, with air-tight diaphragm 13 and an actuating electromagnet 14. The supplementary cycle also includes a receiver 6, and an air-cooled coil 10 beyond the condenser and the receiver. The walls of the water bath may be ribbed to dissipate heat. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a supplementary circuit without air-cooled coils. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
