Abstract

402,186. Refrigerators. ELECTROLUX, Ltd., 153, Regent Street, London.- (Assignees of Platen-Munters Refrigerating System Aktiebolag ; 2, Norrmalmstorg, Stockholm.) July 13, 1932, No. 19819. Convention date, July 27, 1931. [Class 29.] Air-cooled continuous-cycle absorption apparatus fitted outside a cabinet has the cooling fins of the heat delivering elements arranged on different sides of the cabinet so that each set of cooling-fins is traversed by a separate stream of air. The apparatus is preferably arranged in known manner in a flue 11, the condenser 12 being located at the top of the flue. The absorber located below the condenser is preferably cooled by a condensation-evaporation heat transfer system of which the condenser element 13, with channel fins 14, is arranged at the back of the cabinet. Alternatively finned absorber and condenser members may be arranged on different walls.
