Abstract

238,651. Still & Sons, Ltd., W. M., and Still, E. H. June 11, 1924. Refrigerators, domestic and like.-A refrigerator is in the form of a cabinet 1 mounted upon wheels 2 and contains an ice-box 4 arranged above, a tier of shelves 8 closed by slidable doors 13, the compartments of the cabinet being cooled by air that passes from the ice-box through openings 6 to the lower space 11 and from thence up the inside of the end hollow walls 10 to the icebox chamber. The shelves are of glass and each shelf abuts at its ends against linings 9 that are spaced from the end panels 10. The longitudinal edges of the shelves are spaced at 6 from the rails of the sides of the refrigerator for the downward movement of the cooling-air. The doors fitted to compartments are in duplicate and separated by a distance piece 14, Fig. 3, and the refrigerator mav be fitted with trays for holding dirty plates &c.
