Blades, fixing. - In radial flow elastic-fluid turbines, the roots 13, 14 of the blades 10 are inserted in separate slots 13<a>, 14<a> in the blade rings 15, 16. The slots may be of dovetail, T or other section, the blades being inserted from the inner side. The parts 12 of the rings 15, 16 may be left intact. The rings may be caulked at 17, 20 to secure the roots, and two or more blade roots may be fixed in one slot. The slots may be formed by a milling tool.
