Abstract

298,702. Bunn, C. W. July 21, 1927. Vehicle-window opening and closing apparatus.-A window regulator having spring-controlled lazytongs or other linkwork is provided with holding means such as a screw clamp 23 acting on a member of the linkwork or on a link 11 connected thereto. The link 11 may have a length of spring steel welded thereto sliding through a metal loop 15 on a bracket 17 and adapted to be engaged by the screw 23. The movement of the link corresponding to the movement of the window is reduced by connecting it to a pivot 12 at the end of two short links, of the lazytongs.
