Abstract

298,441. Mob³s, W. March 5, 1928. Induction pipes, fittings for.-Back-ignition is prevented and mixing of the charge facilitated by a flattened wad 2 of irregularly intertwined, thin, and preferably non-rusting metal wires. The wad is prevented from springing out of shape by binding-wires, and is secured by cross wires 4, passing through the wad, to a ring 3 grooved at 4a and located in a plate 1 secured between the flanges of the carburettor and the induction pipe.
