298,417. Yarrow, H. E. Jan. 6, 1928. Supporting s u p e rheaters. - Horizontal superheating tubes are supported in a watertube boiler upon tubes in which water circulates. Looped or U- shaped superheating tubes G placed between banks of generating tubes D, C connecting upper and lower drums A, B are supported by the boiler water tubes. The superheating tubes rest upon bent portions I of a number of generating tubes extending across the space between the tube banks. Fins or distance pieces may be interposed between the superheating tubes and the water tubes supporting them.
