Abstract

296,574. Naylor, S. Oct. 1, 1927. Manually-actuated multiple-way valves, - A valve device, particularly applicable for use with gas-heater boilers such as are used in restaurants, comprises in a single unit three independently actuated valves, viz., a main gas supply valve b, an operating or service valve b<1> and a pilot valve g for keeping the gas alight when the operating valve is closed. The casing of the service tap is provided with a bye-pass b<3> for connecting the pilot valve with the gas inlet a and the valve spindle i<1> is interconnected with the draw-off tap. The, pilot valve is operated by a handle e adapted to work between stops f, adjustably mounted in a slot to limit the minimum and maximum openings. The main cock is fitted with a lighting tube h controlled by a cock h<1>. The lighter tube may be carried by the pilot valve.
