Valves fitted with independently actuated supplementary valves.-In water &c. taps of the kind having a supplementary nicked screw plug valve f accessible from below the casing for olosing the valve passage on the pressure side, the orifice in the casing being normally closed by a headed screw stopper, the head of the screw stopper g is peripherally flush with the adjacent projecting portion of the casing and is nicked for engagement by a screwdriver.
