291,973. Kwast, A. P. June 29, 1927. Breast - drills. - An adjustable box spanner comprises two jaws pivoted together scissors fashion, a handle, preferably of the horn type, on which the jaws are mounted at their rear ends and means for opening and closing the jaws. The jaw members 10, 11 are pivoted together at 14. The upper end 15 of the member 10 is fixed to the stem 16 of a brace 17 or lever handle 21 and the end 18 of the other member slides on the stem 16. The jaws 12, 13 are normally held open by a spring 19 and are closed to grip the work by a nut 20 threaded on the stem 16.
