Screw motors; regulating rotors.-The rotor of a wind motor comprises a series of radial spokes 1 on which the vanes 30 are pivoted by collars secured to cross-bars on the vanes, a series of inclined spokes 6, a flanged hub 3, rings 5, 26, 28, and rods 27 29. The vanes 30 may be plane or angular as shown in Fig. 2. Their inclination is adjusted against spring tension by a governor 16 through the medium of a sliding member 20, rods 21 and arms 22 on the vanes.
