Thermionic amplifiers embody an inter-valve coupling consisting of tuned circuits 15 - - 18 associated with the plate and grid circuits respectively of two valves, 1, 2 and coupled together both inductively as at 14 and by capacity 13, and means are provided for neutralising the interelectrode capacitative coupling of the valves, for example, screening grids 6, or a coil and neutralizing condenser (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown).
