Thermionic amplifiers and detectors; atmospheric and undesired signals, eliminating or limiting.-A resistance-shunted condenser is inserted in series with the secondaries of each of the resonant transformers described in the parent Specification. Each condenser is located between the existing condenser (across the secondary) and the valve, and is preferably between 0.001 and 0.0001 mfds, the shunting resistance being between 2 and 5 megohms.
