Regulating two or more pumps in combination; suction pipes. - In a fuel pump for a multicylinder internal-combustion engine, a rotatable valve m is arranged in the suction pipe d and is provided with a number of cams n<1>, n<2>, n<3> arranged 90‹ apart and adapted to close the respective inlet pipes e', e<2>, e<3> of the various pumps, so that the particular pump thus cut off from suction may be dismounted. The cams may be arranged to cut off groups of pumps. The delivery of the pumps to the engine may be interrupted by the usual by-pass valve k.
