278970 Winkler C 31 March 1927 Headings F2A AD16 A6E2 and A7D1 Impression adjustments. -To adjust the pressure between the printing and impression cylinders of a rotary machine, the shaft e of one of these cylinders is mounted eccentrically in a bush b which is adjustable in the machine frame a and is held in adjusted position by screws c passing through segmental slots in an extension of the bush b. To hold the shaft e firmly, a split conical sleeve d is fitted in the bush b and is adjustable longitudinally thereto by means of a nut f operable by a spanner, and held in position by a segment g screwed to the bush. The end of the shaft is kept in position longitudinally by a screw i, which is held in its adjusted position, relatively to a cover h attached to the bush b, by means of a split wedge-shaped sleeve k adjustable by a nut l.
