Rotary offset machines; tripping- arrangements. - A rotary web offset printing-machine having two offset cylinders 12 between which the web is passed to receive offset impressions on opposite sides is constructed with eccentric bearings 14 for the shaft 13 of each offset cylinder, the bearings 14 being angularly adjustable in further eccentric bearings 38. The bearings 14 are angularly adjustable by arms 7 connected by turnbuckles 6<a> to links 6, and serve to move the cylinders 12 to and from the forme cylinders 1. The bearings 38 are normally held fixed by bolts 44 passing through slots 43 in flanges on the bearings, and when the bolts are loosened, the bearings 38 are adjustable by toothed sectors 40 operable by handles 41, and serve to move the offset cylinders bodily about the axis of the corresponding forme cylinder. One of the offset cylinders may be replaced by an impression cylinder, or a direct-printing cylinder.
