Receivers; loud-speakers. - Magnets 3, 4 of a telephone receiver, the polepieces of which vibrate owing to molecular movement as described in Specification 260,959, are built into sound boxes 13, 14 located opposite one another and arranged so that the magnets are near one another. The sound boxes may be adjustably connected together by screwed bolts or they may be rigidly connected and relative positions of the magnets adjusted by wooden screws 21, 22. A rod or disc magnet may be mounted on one sound-box and a similar magnet with a coil mounted on the other.
