Self-filling reservoir pens. -In a reservoir pen, provided at the rear end with a small plunger for the purpose of compressing the collapsable sac, means are provided to enable the plunger to be actuated without removal of its usual covering cap. As shown in Fig. 1, the sac A is adapted to be compressed through the buckling of the strip B, the buckling being effected by pressure on the endpiece C of the strip B. The end of the piece C is engaged by the inner end of a slidable and rotatable push-member D mounted in the cap G. The push member is cut away at one side and is provided with a projection E<1> adapted to engage with a pin F in the cap G to prevent withdrawal. The end of the push-member normally abuts against a projection E on the end of the barrel to prevent accidental operation. When the pen is to be filled, the cap G is rotated slightly and carries the member D with it until its end is free of the projection E. In the form shown in Fig. 3, a cam K is pivoted in the cap G and serves to actuate the strip B. According to the Provisional Specification, the strip B is accommodated in a channel in the wall of the barrel so as to enable a larger sac to be employed,
