Abstract
621.241. Fountain pens. LANG PEN CO., Ltd., and HORN. A. S. Feb. 10, 1947. No. 3842. [Class 146 (iii)] In a lever-actuated sac selffilling fountain pen a stop arm 10 is pivoted to the filling lever 6 to prevent the lever moving beyond its raised position at right angles to the pen. The stop arm 10 has an arcuate portion 16 and is square cut at 17 to abut with the lower wall of the channel section lever 6 when the lever is fully raised, while its upper end 15 engages the inside of the barrel wall. In a modification, abutments in' the form of pressed lugs may be provided on the lever 6 which engage the lower end of the arm 10. The arm 10 may be bifurcated to engage the end of the lever slot or its bifurcated end may be retained by a spring ring set in a groove in the barrel.
