The bolt is acted on by a spring l to cause it to enter a recess c<1> or c<2> and is connected to a piston m<1> exposed to the pressure in the supply pipe d. A float h controls valves b<1>, b<2> to prevent the attainment of the pressure necessary to disengage the bolt and operate the valve c, so long as liquid is flowing through the discharge pipe e.
