Plug-cocks.-A racking-cock comprises a casing 1 having a port a for admission of liquid and a port b for escaping air or fob, and a plug 6 with corresponding ports c, d and a circumferentially disposed air reservoir 8 which connects the air and liquid ports when the cock is closed, to permit the liquid therein to fall back into the cask. The air and fob outlet ports in the plug are wider circumferentially than the liquid inlet ports, so that they remain open after the liquid port is closed and consequently relieve the pressure in the cask.
