Abstract

374,267. Venting devices. BROWN, A. T., Prestwood Garage, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. June 4, 1931, No. 16321. [Class 21.] A venting device for beer barrels &c. consists of a stem 2 with a lateral extension 3 and a bore 5, 6, the exit being closed by a screwed thimble 8 containing a spring or gravity controlled ball valve 11 which admits air on reduction of pressure. Slots 12 ensure that the ball shall not completely obturate the channel 6. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 12700/03 and 314,407, [both in Class 21, Casks &c.].
