Abstract

262,033. Cloud, W. A. July 20, 1925. Impact pulverizers; delivery devices.- The delivery device is mounted so as to be capable of being set to discharge at any angle and also of being removed and turned back to front so as to discharge in the opposite direction. As shown, the discharge outlet 27 forms part of a. casing 28 fastened at one end of the mill remote from the feeding shoot 25 by means of bolts 29 so that the outlet can be turned to any angle or removed from the mill and turned back to front to discharge in the reverse direction. A casing 20 surrounds three rotary discs or plates provided with projecting pins co-operating with pins on stationary discs. Compartments 21, 22, 23 of different sizes contain co-operating pairs of discs. The outlet 27 discharges to a balloon or collectors.
