Abstract

259,434. Siiddeutsche Bremsen Akt.- Ges. Oct. 17, 1925, [Convention date]. Spray carburettors.-The float chamber 2 is disposed laterally of the mixing-chamber 1 and is provided with a fuel tube 4 coaxial with the float 3 and connected to the mixing-chamber by a horizontal mixing-tube 5 provided with an air inlet 8, the tube 5 being disposed in a channel 9 in the float 3 close to the liquid surface. The tube 5 may extend through the wall of the float chamber, the air inlet 8 being replaced or supplemented by an air inlet outside the chamber. The rich mixture may be supplied from the tube 5 to passage 11 in the spindle of the throttle valve 6 and thence through a duct 10 in the valve. Compressed air or a mixture of gaseous fuel and air may be supplied to the tube 5.
