Abstract
A low-suction-resistance PLA tow filter rod for reducing the temperature of cigarette vapor and a preparation method therefor. The preparation method comprises steps of preparing a phase-change material mixture, preparing a phase-change material containing a flavor substance, preparing a slow-release flavor filter rod, etc. By increasing the addition amount of a phase-change material and performing combination with a low-suction-resistance PLA tow filter rod, by means of triple cooling, the overall suction taste of a cigarette and a heat-not-burn cigarette is improved and the temperature of cigarette vapor is also reduced, so that the suction comfort of a consumer is improved. The technological process is simple, and it is applicable to industrial production.

Under the temperature of 200-400°C, tobacco materials are heated by carbon or electricity, but not burn, so that smoke are produced after low-temperature pyrolysis. The temperature of smoke is 45-90°C after filtered.

According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the said alcohol extract is one or more alcohol extract(s) selected from plum extract, tree moss concrete or licorice extract; the said food flavor substance is one or more flavor substance(s) selected from the flavor substances of wine, flower, fruit or mint; and the said humectant is one or more humectant(s) selected from glycerol, propylene glycol or sorbitol.

According to another preferred embodiment of the invention, the said flavoring substance of the phase change material is located at the center of filter Rods.
The invention also relates to a PLA tow filter rods with low draw resistance for reducing the temperature of smoke prepared according to the above preparation method.

Example 3: Preparation of the PLA tow filter rods with low draw resistance for reducing the temperature of smoke The steps of the example are as follows: A. Preparation of the mixture of phase change materials PEG-400, PEG-1000, PEG-1500, water and stearic acid are mixed according to the mass ratio of 23:14:46:12:5 to obtain the said mixture of phase change materials; B. Preparation of phase change materials containing flavoring substances The mixture of propylene glycol and sorbitol in the mass ratio of 1:2 to obtain a flavor substance, which is then mixed with the mixture of phase change materials obtained in step A in a mass ratio of 39:61, then added to a sealed water bath, heated and dissolved under the temperature of 65°C with agitation, and then 15 kept at temperature of 90°C, to obtain the said phase change material solution containing flavoring substance; C. Preparation of the filter rods slow-releasing flavor The phase change material solution containing flavoring substance obtained in Step B is sprayed onto PLA tows of filter rods in a mass ratio of 10:10 by a spraying device with a shaped nozzle, and then solidified and formed by a filter rod maker, to obtain the said PLA tow filter rods with low draw resistance for reducing the temperature of smoke. The detection was carried out by conventional method for draw resistance, which shows that the draw resistance of the filter rod is 1124Pa and the circumference is 24.2mm.
By using a conventional making and assembling equipment, the PLA tow filter rods prepared by the example is connected to the back end of the conventional cigarette rod to obtain the cigarette sample C. By using a modified making and assembling device, the PLA tow filter rods is connected to the back end of the heat-not-burn to obtain the cigarette sample C-1.
The cigarette sample prepared in Examples 1-3 is simulated smoking according to the cigarette smoking model prescribed by the National Standard YC/T29-1996, and the temperature at the center of the cigarette filter rod during smoking is measured by the k-type thermocouple temperature detector. The results are shown in tables 1 and 2.

The measurement data in Table 1 and Table 2 showed that the mainstream smokes of the tobacco products using the PLA tow filter rods with low draw resistance of the present invention was lower in temperature than the control sample. The oral cavity had no burning sensation after adding a certain proportion 5 of phase change material. The smoking comfort was good, at the same time, the flavor substances were released evenly, and the smoke temperature decreased more obviously with the increase of the amount of PCM added. The reason is that the heat transfer coefficient of PLA is very low, the physical heat absorption of PCM and the specific heat capacity of water in PCM are large. After such a triple 10 cooling, the mainstream temperature of smoke is greatly reduced when the mainstream smoke passes through. The more the phase change material is added, the more obvious the cooling effect is. Preparation of the mixture of phase change materials PEG-400, PEG-1000, PEG-1500, water and stearic acid are mixed according to the mass ratio of 10-30:15-40:10-50:10-20:5-10 to obtain the said mixture of phase change materials; B. Preparation of phase change materials containing flavoring substances The flavoring substances is mixed with the mixture of phase change materials obtained in step A in a mass ratio of 10-70:35-85, then added to a sealed water bath, heated and dissolved under the temperature of 60-80°C with agitation, and then kept at temperature of 90°C, to obtain the said phase change material 15 solution containing flavoring substance; C. The method according to claim 2, characterized in that the said alcohol extract is one or more alcohol extract(s) selected from plum extract, tree moss extract or licorice extract; the said food flavor substance is one or more food flavor substance(s) selected from flavor substances of wine, flower, fruit or mint; the said humectant is one or more humectant(s) selected from glycerol, propylene glycol or sorbitol.
- 4. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that in Step C, the said nozzle shape is composed of one or more phase change material line(s).
- 5. The method according to claim 4, characterized in that the shape is line, circle, polygon or irregular shape.

- 9. The method according to claiml, characterized in that the circumference 15 of the said PLA tow filter rods is 16.0-25.0mm
