Abstract
256,837. Gibson, J. D., and Gibson, J. R. Dec. 2, 1925. Aerials and like receiving conductors.-The conductor 13 surrounded by insulation 16 is enclosed in conductive sheaths 14, 15 separated by a gap 17 which is bridged by a wire 19 secured to wings 20, 21 on the adjacent ends of the sheaths 14, 15. The other end of the sheath 14 is closed by a metal cap. The sheaths may be of lead or lead alloy, and the gap 17 filled with rubber or asphalt. The conductor may be embedded in the ground.
