543,272. Electric heating elements. BRITISH INSULATED CABLES, Ltd., and CAVE, P. W. Nov. 4, 1940, No. 16075. [Class 39 (iii)] A conductor 1 insulated with asbestos 2 is folded on itself at its mid point and enclosed in a single lead sheath 3, the end of which is closed with asbestos 4 and a metal cap 5. The element may be bent to follow a surface to which it is applied, and may be secured in the manner known for surface wiring. The sheath may be of figure 8 or dumb-bell cross section.
