Multiple-indication apparatus. - In a valuecomputing apparatus for an automatic or semi-automatic weighing-scale of the type in which a pointer in coming to rest indicates the weight and value of the goods, the value chart is set by hand to the price per unit of weight of the goods being weighed. As shown in Fig. 1, the pointer b of a semi-automatic weighing-scale is arranged to move over a quadrant a, provided with a weight chart c and with a slot f through which one of a series of value scales g is visible. The value chart is marked on a band h which is carried by two rollers i, j and is held in tension by a spiral spring o. The scales on the value chart are divided into sets, each set corresponding to a certain unit of price and scales in the same set relating to different ranges of weights. Slots d, e are provided in the quadrant, through which numerals indicating respectively, the price per unit weight and the range of weight, are viewed. In a modification, Fig. 3, two value charts h, h<2> are provided, the upper corresponding to the tens of the price and the lower to the units and fractions thereof. The drums supporting the charts are mounted on a frame u adjustable vertically behind the quadrant a by means of a hand-wheel v. The frame is provided with slots q, q<2> registering with slots d, d' in the quadrant and through which the numerals corresponding to the prices per unit weight are viewable. In use, the bands h, h<2> are adjusted by means of handles k, k<2> so that the price of the goods is indicated by the sum of the numerals shown through the slots q, q<2>. The frame u is moved vertically until the correct range of weight is indicated through an aperture e. Tha value will then be given by the sum of the values indicated by the pointer through the slots f, f<2>.
