Dials and scales; multiple-indication apparatus.-In a computing weighing scale of variable capacity for indicating the monetary or other value of goods being weighed, a tabular chart with a plurality of sets of computations is arranged behind an apertured or windowed front plate the chart and/or plate being relatively manually displaceable to bring the appropriate set of readings to the apertures. In the form shown a stationary plate 1, Figs. 1 and 4, with a weight scale 2 and arcuate rows of apertures 3 is arranged in front of a tabular chart 4 of monetary values. The chart 4 is carried bv four eccentrics 5 on spindles 6 journaled in the plate 1 and bearings 18. Each spindle carries a sprocket wheel 7 around which passes a chain 8 operated by a handle 9 to adjust the set of values according to the capacity, the values being arranged circularly about the apertures in the front plate as shown in Fig. 5. The chart is held in set position by pins 10 on the eccentrics engaging recesses 11 in the plate 1. To avoid obliteration of the values by the relative movement of the chart and plate the chart is arranged to be axially displaceable by providing collars 16 on the spindles 6 with which engage the forked ends 15<a> of a four armed frame 12, 12<a> secured to a manually operated slidable rod 14. In a modification the values may ba arranged around the periphery of bars rotatable in unison by the handle 9.
