Breech action, drop-down barrel.-The spring for controlling the operating-lever described in the parent Specification is contained in a tubular casing 4 closed at one end, this closed end being pivoted to the breech body 7 or to a shoe 6 mounted on the breech body. The lower end of the casing has side extensions 8 which embrace the operating lever 1.
