Abstract

201,958. Hazelton, G. March 10, 1922. Breech actions, sliding breech-block. - The breech-body A of an automatic pistol is formed with two parallel cylindrical bores 1, 2 united by a slot. The breech-block R slides in the upper bore and on the removable barrel B, and at the front has a depending lug 4 engaging a spring plunger P sliding in the lower bore. The walls of the upper bore, are machined away at the front upper portion to provide for the assembling of the barrel and breech-block. The barrel B is fastened to the body A by a lug 7 projecting downwards at its rear end into a groove in the body. The barrel and breech-block are assembled from the front by a sliding and turning movement.
