Abstract
238,521. Violet, M. A. Aug. 14, 1924, [Convention date]. Two-stroke-cycle engines. - In a co-axial cylinder engine compressing in the crank case A, the charge is admitted through one port H only, this being arranged in the right hand cylinder when the rotation is clockwise. The admission from the crankcase to the cylinders takes place through the ports 0 in the pistons and the transfer passages L. The ports and passages are in the same plane as the gudgeons R. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) also states that the admission port H is in the left hand cylinder when the engine is built to rotate in the reverse direction. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 14398/14.
