Abstract

Regulating. - To ensure the saturation of the steam supplied to the turbine driving a centrifugal separator the injector shown in Fig. 4 is used. The condensed steam from the clarifier is collected in a sump into which drops a pipe 71 from the injector. Steam is supplied through the nozzle 74 which discharges into the Venturi tube 75. The nozzle is adjustable in the body member 72 so that the desired amount of water may be supplied to the steam from the pipe 71.
