Atmospheric gas burners. - The, cross-sectional areas of a gas supply pipe 3, a nipple 6, a transverse tube 4 forming a mixing-chamber and a mixing-tube 7 of a Bunsen burner have the relative proportions of approximately 400, 9, 576, and 196 respectively, the length of the mixing-tube 7 being approximately five times the length of the nipple 6. The pipe 3 is provided with a hand-grip 8. Dimensions of the parts are given.
