Abstract

299,125. Lucas, E. E. Aug. 12, 1927. Atmospheric gas burners; gas supply. - A burner for heating furnaces and like purposes comprises a mixing-tube 1 provided with a towngas supply conduit 6, fitted with an air-regulator 5, and with a power-gas supply conduit 2 so that either or both of the gas supplies may be used. An air-blast conduit may be provided in place of the conduit 2, a power-gas supply pipe being arranged to discharge laterally into the mixing- tube adjacent the outlet.
