Abstract

294,422. Falkner, A. J. Dec. 6, 1927. Incandescent gas burners. - A tubular member 1 having a transverse rib 3 is fitted in the mixing-tube a of an inverted burner. The wall of the tube is slit at 4 and slightly expanded to grip the wall of the mixing- tube. The position of the rib 3 relatively to the gas nipple may be varied by reversing the tube or by adjusting the latter by means of a pin 5 passing through a helical slot 6 in the mixing-tube. The slot 6 is covered by a spring- pressed plate 7.
