Atmospheric gas burners. -A nozzle a, particularly for gas-fire burners, is provided with a transverse steatite or like perforated baffle or grid c, arranged immediately below the restricted outlet b, and with .a depending body part f, which extends into the interior of the mixing-tube h and is open at the lower end. The sides of the part f may be perforated, preferably by narrow slits g. The grid c is held in position between a shoulder on the body and a ring e, which, as shown in Fig. 2, may be formed integrally with the grid.
