Abstract

286,866. Gould, F. J. Feb. 21, 1927. Incandescent gas burners comprise a nozzle made in two parts 1, 2, the lower part 1 being screwed on, and cemented to, the part 2 and having a shoulder supporting a wire gauze or perforated disc 4 about 1# inch from the outlet end and the part 2 being adjustably fixed by a lockuut 6 to a metal venturi tube 5, provided with air-inlets 7, controlled by a screwed ring 8, and connected to a gas nipple 10 having a. regulator preferably of the kind described in Specification 189,636. Specification 161,834 also is referred to.
