Abstract

367,972. Incandescent gas burners. GAS LIGHT & COKE CO., CLARK, J. G., and SMITH, F. C., 84, Horseferry Road, London. Dec. 23, 1930, No. 38766. [Class 75 (i).] A burner nozzle 1, having lugs 4 for the reception of inwardlyextending projections of a refractory mantle ring 8, is provided with an internally screw-threaded ring 7 adapted to clamp the mantle ring on the lugs and thereby enable the burner to be used in any desired position. The nozzle may be provided with two or more externally screw-threaded projections 6, or a complete ring, for engaging the ring 7. The latter may be made of metal or other refractory material and is removable.
